Our approach to Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) is all about collaboration. Using VDC methods, we are able to collaborate earlier, in a virtual environment, with diverse teams of owners, designers, contractors, and subcontractors. This allows us to evaluate important project elements and processes up-front, before ground is broken.
The VDC process also includes Building Information Modeling (BIM), through which our experienced team uses a range of BIM software applications to create 3D models of the assets being used for construction. Using BIM, important building systems and components are optimized for construction and prefabrication prior to the commencement of construction. This helps to ensure a safe environment, consistent and quality workmanship, greater efficiency, and an exceptional final product. BIM models also provide valuable data that supports better cost estimating, sequencing and scheduling, material handling, logistics, and sustainability.

VDC SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS
Dave and his team were excellent to work with on the BIM process at Perryville Great Wolf and then on the Water Park only at the NE Great Wolf.
