Safety and the overall welfare of our customers and employees, is Worth & Company’s top priority. We invest in new equipment, training, and initiatives to ensure a safe work environment at all times, and support a zero-injury safety culture. Our Safety professionals are committed to providing ongoing support and guidance to effectively plan and perform work safely on every jobsite.

Worth & Company is a proud OSHA partner since 2008 and requires that employees undergo a multitude of training on a regular basis. Together, we’re working collaboratively to reduce injuries in the workplace and maintain the highest standard of safety in the industry.

Safety Initiatives

• Three full-time safety professionals
• Ability to train in over 10 specialty courses
• Site specific safety plans for all job sites
• Superintendents and management are OSHA 30HR trained
• Superintendents are first aid, CPR and AED trained
• Daily safety huddles in the field specific to each jobsite
• Weekly toolbox meetings
• State certified safety committee since 2001 that meets monthly to review all incidents and make recommendations for improving job site safety
• Apprentices are 10HR OSHA trained
• A safety team that looks out for the employee’s safety on a job to job basis
• Safety awards program that benefits the employees for identifying hazards
• Safety professionals that are trained as Site Safety and Health Officers for EM385-1-1, the Army Corp of Engineers
• New employee orientation program that focuses on safe operating procedures
