Park Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant
The Park Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant project consisted of an upgrade and expansion to the existing Horsham Wastewater Treatment Plant in Horsham, PA.

The Park Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant project included an upgrade and expansion of the existing facility to improve nutrient removal, UV disinfection and biosolids drying capabilities in order to comply with the effluent water quality standards of the Part 1 NPDES permit. The project scope involved several new building additions, including an A20 building and tank, filter, maintenance and centrifuge facility as well as a new clarifier, flocculation tank and clarifier splitter box. Renovations were made to the existing process building, UV disinfection building, control building and digester tanks. Worth was the lead Prime General Contractor on this project responsible for all scheduling while coordinating efforts with the Electrical and HVAC/Plumbing contractors.
Worth’s ability to prefabricate and manufacturer was a huge success to this project because we were able to trouble shoot for potential onsite issues given the size and complexity of materials used. In addition, prefabrication and manufacturing in a controlled environment allows for a safer atmosphere for our employees.
The Worth team overcame several construction sequence changes and challenges throughout the duration of the project and managed to remain on track with the timeline and high expectations of the owner.
