Differences Made

On behalf of the Bucks County Heroes Scholarship Fund and its Board of Directors, I want to thank the Worth & Company and especially President Stephen Worth. The contributions to the Heroes Scholarship Fund over the last few years have assisted greatly in building the Fund to an all-time high and ensuring we will be able to meet the needs of the Bucks County Emergency Services Community in the event of a disastrous occurrence.

In its over 30 years of existence, the Bucks County Heroes Scholarship Fund has provided full scholarships to three of the children of emergency services personnel who lost their lives while serving the community. At present, we have the child of a police officer currently attending college and the scholarship fund is ensuring there is no expense to their family for their education.

This support would not be possible without the backing of local communities and businesses like Worth and Company and we greatly appreciate that we’re able to depend on that support to continue our cause.

As a former police officer myself, the knowledge that my children would be taken care of if I was permanently injured or killed while working gave me some comfort and allowed me to do my job without that worry. This comfort is so important, as we ask for so many sacrifices from our emergency services workers and their families.

The board of directors is so very pleased to partner with Worth & Company and looks forward to a long relationship to benefit our communities and the people who serve them.
