Worth & Company Vice President of Finance Named “Woman of the Year” by Associated Builders & Contractors of Southeastern PA

PIPERSVILLE, Pennsylvania (September 29, 2009) – Worth & Company, a leading regional provider of mechanical contracting and maintenance services in the tri-state area, announced today that Pat Hurst, the company’s Vice President of Finance, was named as the inaugural “Woman of the Year” by the Southeast Pennsylvania Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (“ABC SEPA”) at their Member Recognition Dinner on September 23, 2009. ABC SEPA represents almost 500 general and specialty contractors, material suppliers and related firms in the area, providing apprenticeship and training programs, business development, government and labor relations, safety and management education. The “Woman of the Year Award” was started this year to honor an ABC SEPA woman member serving as a role model, mentor and advocate who has contributed to creating opportunities and presenting a positive image for other women in the construction industry.

Hurst, a 20 year Worth & Company veteran, is an active member of multiple construction-related trade associations. She is the current President and former Vice President of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association (“CFMA”), and had served on the Board of Directors of ABC SEPA for eight years.
