Our pre-fabrication and pre-assembly methods deliver mechanical systems on schedule and on budget.

Worth & Company’s “plan, prep and install” construction methodology results in faster delivery; a cleaner and safer work environment; flexibility to adapt to changes; fewer change orders and waste; and a higher quality mechanical system.

Our Construction / Installation team has the ability to meet and even exceed customer expectations through its experience, large manpower pool and state-of-the-art processes. Once the pre-construction / Design phase is underway, our customers realize that the planning has just begun. Our installation and fabrication professionals listen to be sure we understand all of the project requirements and owner’s expectations—and then we put into action the following methodology:

Plan

We create a detailed Construction Project Plan specifying when major project milestones will occur, including pre-fabrication and pre-assembly of necessary materials; handling and delivery of those materials to the job site; installation of the mechanical system; commissioning and testing of the system; and the projected close of the project. With planning, Worth & Company can facilitate a seamless process with the entire construction team to deliver the highest quality mechanical system in the most expeditious and efficient way possible.

Prep

Upon finalization of the Construction Project Plan, a dedicated fabrication/ installation team is organized by one of our highly experienced Project Managers. Under the leadership of the Senior Project Manager, Project Manager and Superintendant, an onsite project team begins planning and prepping the first area at the construction site and the fabrication team starts working in Worth’s clean, Six Sigma / Lean, 25,600 square feet in-house pre-assembly facility to assure the mechanical system is installed per the schedule.

Worth & Company’s broad construction capabilities include:

  • HVAC system fabrication
  • Plumbing system fabrication
  • Piping fabrication
  • Boiler room and mechanical room pre-fabrication
  • System & component pre-assembly

Worth & Company’s pre-fabrication and pre-assembly methods deliver each job on schedule and on budget, unhindered by weather, waste, conditions at the job site or potential damage or theft of system components. We employ a dedicated quality assurance professional to ensure that all project components are manufactured and assembled according to specification before they leave the factory, allowing us to deliver systems, components and material according to schedule on a Just-in-Time basis for immediate installation.

Install

After the mechanical system components are completed, Worth & Company’s materials handling, demolition, boiler and mechanical room “hit teams” begin the installation process. These highly trained, specialized professionals arrive at the construction site exactly when needed and perform their particular function in the most efficient, effective manner possible. Upon installation completion, a dedicated Senior Technician works closely with the owner’s agent to ensure the mechanical system is operating according to plan. Worth & Company then sends out “closers” who quickly attend to any issues on the construction team’s punch list.
