Our proven full-service approach is founded on a commitment to meet all healthcare environment needs.

Worth & Company’s highly experienced healthcare facility team understands the unique challenges of developing mechanical systems within a healthcare environment. We know how vital it is for institutions to partner with companies experienced in working with hospitals, outpatient surgical centers as well as other medical facilities.

Our top priorities are patients’ health, safety and comfort. Our dedicated renovation and construction teams are sensitive to noise control, cleanliness and odors. Work areas are enclosed with zipwall standard dividers and we apply special adhesive materials to flooring so that dust particles are removed from shoes prior to exiting a contained workspace. Our Project Managers, Superintendents and field craftsmen are trained in installing hydronic piping for medical gases. We know the requirements and testing procedures of state regulators and inspectors within the tri-state area and ensure that all our projects meet or exceed code. We have the ability to meet and even exceed schedules due to our manpower and state-of-the-art processes such as pre-fabrication and pre-assembly.

Worth & Company’s Pre-construction Department works with an institution and its design team of architects, general contractors and engineers to understand objectives and design optimal mechanical systems. Our mechanical consultants utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) to identify potential problems before construction begins, resulting in fewer change orders, quicker delivery and a better end product. When there are existing project plans, our consultants and engineers act as trusted advisors to ensure that the resulting mechanical systems are constructible, within budget and meet all project requirements. We believe strongly in teamwork and strive to promote open communication and harmony within the design and construction teams.

Worth & Company’s Construction Department understands that being highly responsive is critical, which is why our highly experienced Project Managers, Superintendents and Field Technicians coordinate and work closely with an institution’s facilities department and its architect, engineer and general contractor.

For hospitals and other healthcare facilities seeking LEED™ certification, Worth has a number of LEED™ certified professionals on staff as well as over 70 Green Advantage certified personnel, including Superintendents and Project Managers who are aware of all of the latest mechanical trends in Green Building.

As a full service mechanical systems contracting company, Worth & Company also provides preventative maintenance and emergency repair service to higher education institutions in the tri-state area.
