It’s Worth It
Safety, and the overall welfare of our customers and employees, is Worth & Company’s top priority. We
invest in new equipment, training, and initiatives to ensure a safe work environment at all times, and support
a zero-injury safety culture. Worth & Company is a proud OSHA partner since 2008 and requires that employees undergo a multitude of training on a regular basis.
Safety Initiatives:
- Three full-time safety professionals, with 45+ years of collective experience
- Two safety professionals authorized by OSHA to instruct 10 and 30 hour classes in construction

- Safety professional authorized to instruct 10 and 30 hour OSHA classes in General Industry
- Superintendents are first aid, CPR and AED trained
- Superintendents and management are OSHA 30HR trained
- Apprentices are 10HR OSHA trained
- Health and safety plans for each jobsite
- Weekly toolbox meetings
- Daily safety huddles in the field specific to each jobsite
- New employee orientation program that focus on safe operating procedures
- State certified safety committee since 2001 that meets monthly to review all incidents and make recommendations for improving job site safety
- Two safety professionals are Site Safety and Health Officers for EM385-1-1, the Army Corp of Engineers Regulations
- The Worth Safety team supports and is trained to practice 6S Visual Management – sort, set,
shine, standardize, sustain, and safety
